Resource Information Unit (RIU) is an independent publishing business established in 1979 which specialises
in the fields of mining and oil and gas industry news and resources.
RIU publishes mining, oil, and gas industry magazines and reference books, all of which are available by subscription.
The magazines are also available online to subscribers. All carry extensive advertising relevant to the mining industry.
The reference oil and gas and mining books are also available on a newly-designed CD-ROM which provides quick search
facilities and the ability to extract mailing lists.
RIU’s resources industry publications are produced by a team of experienced journalists, researchers and sales people
operating out of an office in Perth, Western Australia, which houses one of the country's most comprehensive mining
industry databases.
RIU also conducts resources conferences
through its subsidiary business, RIU Conferences Pty Ltd. RIU Conferences Pty Ltd is managed by professional conference organiser
